Frequently Asked Questions about our Mobile Disco

What sort of Disco equipment to you provide?

2Groove has invested heavily in the disco rig that we use to ensure that the result is one of quality and reliability. We use some of the leading names in the music entertainment industry, such as Denon, Electrovoice and Martin and we think you will appreciate the difference!

What if your equipment develops a fault?

If in the unlikely event that something does fail, we always carry spares with us to each and every function which will enable us to get the party back up and running in no time at all.

How will you be dressed?

Our uniform is smart yet discrete, consisting of formal black trousers, shoes and a black branded Polo shirt. If you are holding a special event and would like your DJ to dress accordingly, this can be arranged with prior notice.

Do you have insurance?

As a professional Disco company we have Public Liability Insurance for up to £10,000,000.

Will we receive written confirmation of our booking?

Yes, with each booking you will receive a form to complete and a list of our Terms and Conditions for you to sign and return. A holding deposit will also be required and once we receive that, the date for your event will be reserved.

What happens if the DJ is unwell or unable to make the event?

This hasn’t happened yet, but it will be 2Groove’s responsibility to find a DJ of equal quality to for fill the booking. Having been in this industry for many years we have a close network of many local DJ’s that we can call upon for assistance.

Can we request the music you play?

We encourage you to provide a list of your preferred tunes that you would like us to play, and also a list of the songs you wish to avoid. We would, however, ask that you limit your playlist to a maximum of 15-20 tracks to allow us to use our experience to keep the dance floor busy. We require your requests at least a week prior to the function to allow us time to make sure we have them.
