2Groove is proud of the reputation that it has gained as a professional mobile Disco, having played at a number of Essex’s prestigious venues. We have vast experience from many years of performing at Weddings, Birthday celebrations, Anniversary parties, School Proms and Corporate functions.
By understanding that no two events are the same we will be in regular contact prior to your function to establish exactly what your expectations are. By discussing the timings, special requirements and last but certainly not least your music tastes, the DJ will make your night one to remember! We believe it is imperative to find out which musical styles and artists you enjoy listening and dancing to, but also maybe more importantly which ones you don’t!
With each event you will receive an Event Booking form and a list of Terms and Conditions for you to complete, sign and return with a small holding deposit. We believe this is essential and shows our commitment to your function, rather than being a promise on the end of a phone. Face to face meeting with the DJ can also be arranged if required.
What to expect from your DJ
So, what should you expect when you book a mobile disco with 2Groove? You will get a dynamic, state-of-the-art DJ system, boasting equipment made by Denon, Electrovoice, QSC and Martin. By investing in quality, we are confident that you will appreciate the difference between 2Groove and other Mobile DJ's on the market. Our sound is crystal clear and our lighting creates a stunning atmosphere for any occasion.
Your DJ will be punctual, courteous, smartly dressed and accommodating. They will arrive approximately one hour before the event is to start to make sure the disco is up and ready to go in plenty of time. Usually background music will be played whilst you relax and your guests arrive, and then when appropriate, the Disco will begin to entice you to the dance floor!
Our music library boasts thousands and thousands of tracks and is continually updated as well as having the essential party tracks from decades gone by.

Some DJs act like radio presenters and enjoy the sound of their own voice, much to the annoyance of the audience. Be assured that 2Groove does not encourage this practice, but will use the microphone in a friendly manner to keep formalities structured and the audience informed.
